**Job Summary**
As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist with arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in processing various medical documents, extracting data, and entering it into our electronic database. You'll work independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion. **A Day in the Role**
As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, including:
* Processing various medical documents, such as Independent Medical Reviews
* Extracting data and entering it into our electronic database via Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
* Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion
* Using critical thinking steps to determine next steps and reach out to clients via phone to obtain missing information, etc.
* Being comfortable and proficient using computers, spreadsheets, and having reliable internet
* Working in a metrics/quota driven environment and being comfortable with customer service and client coordination over the phone
* Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred, and candidates must have previous experience working in a metrics based environment
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
* Reliable high-speed internet
* Your own computer or laptop for use in this role (no Chromebooks)
* At least 1 year of remote work experience
* High School Diploma
**Schedule**
As a remote team member, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
