Key Responsibilities
As a Home Infusion Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing a wide range of infusion treatments in patients' homes
- Utilizing your clinical IV experience and personal touch to help patients recover in the comfort of their own homes
- Conducting one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education according to the physician's plan of treatment
- Maintaining excellent written and verbal customer service skills to interact with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other partners
- Participating in on-call rotation as needed
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of work, with additional licensure potentially required in multi-state service areas
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience, with IV-related experience being an asset
- Current CPR certification
- A valid and current driver's license and car insurance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word to document and track patient care activity
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Three years of nursing experience
- One year of infusion experience
- Home healthcare experience
