About the Role
We are seeking highly motivated and professional individuals to join our remote team, where you will work independently and collaboratively to drive customer satisfaction and retention. As a key member of our team, you will bring your reliability, positive energy, and confidence to ensure that every customer interaction is a success. With a competitive salary range of $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, plus commission, you will be rewarded for your hard work and dedication.
Key Responsibilities
As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, your duties will include:
- Answering customer calls in a professional and courteous manner, responding to inquiries and concerns, and providing timely solutions.
- Focusing on customer retention by building strong relationships, identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell, and providing personalized support.
- Providing customers with information on our service standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring that they are well-informed and empowered to make decisions.
- Identifying, escalating, and reporting priority issues to high-level management, ensuring that critical matters are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Routing inbound calls to the appropriate resources, ensuring that customers receive the support they need in a timely and efficient manner.
- Following up on complicated customer calls, providing additional support and resolution as needed, and ensuring that customer concerns are fully addressed.
- Completing call notes and call reports, updating customer information in our CRM system, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.
- Obtaining and evaluating relevant data to handle and document complaints and inquiries, ensuring that customer concerns are thoroughly investigated and resolved.
- Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken, providing valuable insights for process improvements and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Performing other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning.
- Bilingual skills, which are considered a plus, allowing you to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.
- Some sales and customer service experience, providing a solid understanding of customer needs and expectations.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication, with proper grammar and a professional tone.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems, enabling you to efficiently manage customer interactions and data.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
- Some experience with MS Excel, which is considered a plus, allowing you to analyze data and provide insights to drive business decisions.
- The ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations, demonstrating emotional intelligence and a customer-centric approach.
