Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team at Delta Airlines. As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational sustainability of our IT infrastructure, which supports our airport communication spaces. You will work closely with our IT Offices Group to provide expert services, project management, and support to maintain the reliability and efficiency of our server farm and remote communication room equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT administration of all site executions, inventories, system planning, maintenance, and break/fix services for server farm critical infrastructure, IT lab equipment, and remote communication room critical climate hardware.
- Support IT labs to align our client application and design teams with workstations, equipment, and access to test their applications.
- Coordinate remotely with professional services responsible for critical infrastructure support and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms.
- Manage, operate, support, and monitor all critical facilities infrastructure for server farm and remote communication room equipment.
- Develop and implement server farm and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure.
- Support IT Offices grounds fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service progression of the Atlanta airport and grounds offices underground fiber ring.
- Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, guidelines, and methods.
- Ensure compliance with all governing corporate policies and procedures.
- Manage project execution of server farm and remote communication room capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements.
- Choose IT and critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors meet their contractual obligations.

What You Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Strong and effective communication and relationships with supervisory groups, vendors, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of server farm technology and critical facilities infrastructure.
- Project management of remote communication room capital upgrades, overhauls, and improvements.
- Capital planning and project management for airport critical hardware life cycle replacement.
- Support Corporate Land projects that involve remote communication room design/operation as an IT Offices representative and on-site appraisal reporting.
- Space, UPS Power, and critical cooling capacity management.
- Choice of critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors meet their contractual obligations.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and vendor support of suitable electrical power, A/C, fire suppression, security, floor maintenance, and cabling programs for communication rooms.
- Provide proactive and break-fix support for alarm/ticket remediation related to offices, remote communication rooms, lab, and server farm hardware.
- Functional sustainability of airport critical climate infrastructure.
- Foster Plan Standards for Remote Communication Room Space, UPS, central air, Generators, and Fire Life and Security (FLS) systems.
- Distant coordination of airport critical infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities.
- Survey/Store Maintenance Records. Ensure errors are remediated.
- Provide distant Occurrence Management goal to airport critical hardware.
- Provide remote installation, setup, and operational support.
- Maintain strict adherence to change control exercises.
- Balances multiple needs within established time constraints.
- Adaptability to support an activity with varying shifts, extended hours, and availability for potential emergency requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse individuals, thinking, and styles.
What Will Give You an Upper Hand
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Four-year degree or 5 or more years of relevant experience.
- IT Project Management experience with (at least 3 years) within a high-availability communication room or potentially server farm operating environment, everyday operational requirements, and the operation of production systems and equipment.
