With a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and customer satisfaction, we're committed to building long-term relationships with our clients and partners. **Job Description** As a Managed Services Costpoint Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including data entry, accounts payable processing, accounts receivable processing, invoicing, timesheet and expense processing, and account reconciliations. You'll work closely with our clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks, and provide exceptional customer service to meet their needs. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform data entry tasks, including processing invoices, timesheets, and expenses * Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including verifying and reconciling transactions * Prepare and send invoices to clients, and follow up on outstanding payments * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger * Provide exceptional customer service to clients, vendors, and internal teams * Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes * Meet or exceed billable utilization requirements as directed by the Manager * Record time worked daily and maintain accurate records * Develop and maintain internal and client-facing documentation, user guides, and templates * Adaptable to learn new skills and modules as directed by the Manager **General Responsibilities** * This is a customer-facing position, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Performance-based criteria, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and timeliness * Effectively express ideas and thoughts in multiple modes (written and verbal) * Exhibit good listening and comprehension skills * Maintain effective communication to ensure all impacted participants are informed * Ability to set and meet customer commitments and respond to customer needs on time * Use time efficiently and able to integrate change smoothly when priorities change * Ability to prioritize and plan work activities appropriately * Gather and analyze information skillfully * Work well in a group problem-solving situation * Ability to develop and communicate alternative solutions to complex problems * Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness of proposed solutions with a focus on quality * Exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views * Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities **Required Experience/Skills** * Proven experience as an accounting specialist or equivalent position * Highly motivated and self-directed work ethic * Aptitude in creative problem-solving * Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills * Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills * Must be willing to work occasional nights and weekends if required * The job is remote and may require some travel **Preferred Experience/Skills** * 2+ years of experience with automated accounting systems * Strong knowledge of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger * Experience with Costpoint or similar accounting systems **Education/Certifications** * AS/AA in business administration or relevant field preferred, although years of experience will be considered in lieu of Associate's degree * Ability to become certified within 1 year of employment dependent upon the assigned role * Accounts Payable, Billing & Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Projects * Time Collection, Expense **Physical Requirements** * Consistently requires sitting or standing for a majority of the day to complete essential job duties on the computer and telephone * Consistently requires auditory abilities to efficiently listen and effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and staff to carry out essential job duties * Occasionally requires standing to scan, print, and copy job-related documents to carry out job duties * Occasional overnight travel by land and/or air may be necessary **Compensation and Benefits** * Competitive salary range: $37,000 - $52,000 per year * Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) retirement plan with company match * Paid time off and holidays * Opportunities for professional growth and development **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and experienced accounting professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
