As a Medical Advice Chat Operator, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with our clients, doctors, and technicians to provide accurate and timely medical advice. **Responsibilities** As a Medical Advice Chat Operator, your primary responsibilities will include: * Offering genuine client service while assisting our clients via chat or phone * Maintaining a positive attitude and providing exceptional customer service to our clients, remote team members, and Adobe team members * Working as a team to deliver exceptional customer service and support to our clients * Possessing excellent communication skills (written and oral) to effectively communicate with clients, doctors, and technicians * Managing high-volume chat systems and accurately and efficiently answering chats and assisting with phone calls as needed * Scheduling appointments for 20+ doctors who work in multiple locations and see different types of animals * Scheduling Technician appointments for vaccines, nail trims, blood draws, anal glands, and other procedures * Possessing a great phone and chat voice (interactive, positive, calming) to provide a positive experience for our clients * Working well within the CSR team and with other departments in our hospital * Being detail-oriented and collecting correct client/patient information, relaying correct information to doctors/technicians/other departments, typing notes in patient records, and providing accurate information to our clients * Reviewing and transcribing doctor voice mail messages at various times throughout the day * Correcting appointments as needed and following up with team members and manager about incorrect appointments * Contacting clients for doctors or techs as needed * Contacting no-show appointments for rescheduling * Participating in additional projects as training and aptitude allow **Expectations Unique to Remote Position** As a remote Medical Advice Chat Operator, you'll be expected to: * Remain logged in and reachable by Adobe staff email and Microsoft Teams throughout your shift * Clearly communicate with your direct manager using Microsoft Teams, Email, Phone, or Vocera * Participate in weekly online meetings with your direct manager for the first month, followed by bi-weekly online meetings * Attend bi-monthly staff meetings (virtually) with your direct manager and Client Services team * Keep a detailed daily log of all equipment complications and email it to the IT Manager and Direct Manager at the end of your shift * Follow all arenaflex policies, including attendance and tardy policies * Troubleshoot basic computer, internet, chat, and phone issues as they arise **Qualifications** To be successful as a Medical Advice Chat Operator, you'll need: * A minimum of two years previous veterinary medical experience as an Assistant, Technician, or RVT * Computer experience and proficiency in using a multi-line phone system * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Strong work ethic and ability to stay on task without direct supervision * Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think independently * Client-focused and able to effectively prioritize tasks * Ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment and maintain a positive attitude **Requirements for Applying** To apply for this exciting opportunity, you'll need to meet the following requirements: * Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent * Be fluent in English (written and oral) * Have a dedicated work desk that can accommodate a desktop computer and full-size phone * Have an adequate internet connection (IT will assist with this and provide specifications) * Be comfortable sitting and/or standing for long periods of time and be able to operate a computer and phone * Be available to work one weekend day per week and 2+ holidays per year **Pay Range** The base hourly range for this position is $21.00 – $24.00. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position.
