Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Non-IT Project Manager to assist our global, functional workstream leads in planning, organizing, and managing workplans, ensuring critical milestones are achieved for Day 1 integration activities. The successful candidate will have a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including project management, communication, and problem-solving. This is a remote position, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist global, functional workstream leads in planning, organizing, and managing workplans to achieve critical milestones for Day 1 integration activities
- Identify and mitigate risks/issues and track appropriate items in a RAID log
- Prepare weekly workstream reporting and create messaging appropriate for executive consumption
- Lead and direct a team distributed across multiple regions, using proficient communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Support resources across disciplines, working towards a common goal
- Work autonomously with minimal guidance to move work efforts forward
- Assist integration leads in organizing and planning efforts to achieve Day 1 success on a regional basis
- Understand the progress of each functional workstream and how that status intersects or supports overall integration efforts
- Assist the Integration Management Office (IMO) in PMO responsibilities, such as governance tracking and administration, executive reporting, consolidation of materials, and workstream support
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A strong background in project management, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and direct a team distributed across multiple regions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks/issues
- Experience in creating and delivering executive-level reports and presentations
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance and direction
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience in managing projects in a remote or virtual environment
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile or Waterfall
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
