Job Overview
In this role, you will provide analytical support for our Contact Centers and pre-arrival commerce teams, focusing on performance analytics, forecasting, and data visualization. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct forecasting, ad-hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to inform business decisions
- Monitor agent performance, proactively identify areas that require further research, and conduct analyses from start to finish
- Build presentations and visualizations to tell compelling stories with data
- Present and discuss findings, insights, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and business partners
- Create, maintain, audit, and continuously optimize reports and documents used to support multiple applications
- Execute programs critical to the business operation accurately and under strict timelines
Measurement and Analytics
- Leverage multiple reporting systems and databases (Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Excel, etc.) to conduct analyses and build/maintain reports
- Monitor data quality and document accuracy; improve if needed
- Collaborate with team members, leaders, and business partners to respond to summary business questions with sound quantitative analyses and reproducible results
- Apply innovative analytic techniques to test hypotheses and extract actionable insights
- Stay up-to-date with current data technology trends and share knowledge and best practices with team members
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in an analytical role
- Familiarity with forecasting, including traditional statistical techniques and/or machine learning or deep learning techniques
- Proactive interest to understand the "Why" behind performance, decisions, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and complete projects on time
- Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
- Desire to excel in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous business environment
- Experience with SQL and R or Python
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable:
- Solid knowledge of statistical inference and proven experience in applying statistical rigor to analyses
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent SQL skills and fluency in R or Python
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn new applications and skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners/clients/teams
- Graduate degree and/or 4+ years of relevant experience in analytics or data science
