Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team as a pharmacist centralized services professional. In this role, you will be responsible for executing medical services methodologies, driving patient wellbeing results, and ensuring compliance with clinical pharmacy services. You will also be accountable for implementing patient intervention pharmacy programs, driving financial performance, and fostering strong relationships with clinical communities. As a remote data entry professional, you will be responsible for processing prescriptions from a remote setting, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out direct patient care programs, including drug treatment management programs, vaccination services, and payer and pharma adherence and clinical projects
- Drive the execution of various strategies and operations to ensure business needs are being met
- Ensure region pharmacies comply with regulatory compliance, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines
- Drive local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies to company financial objectives
- Implement and execute patient intervention pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance
- Support efforts on improving patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services
- Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leadership
- Conduct data and clinical reviews, making strategic moves to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions
- Review drug records and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment
- Give individualized patient/supplier consultation and provide feedback regarding the effectiveness of the client maintenance program
Essential Qualifications
- Current pharmacist license as conferred by the appropriate state licensing authority
- Experience motivating colleagues to research and resolve issues
- Experience working with confidential information
- Able to work non-standard hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and/or weekends
- Experience using time utilization skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and following details and meeting deadlines of various tasks with varying completion dates
- Experience creating ways to achieve goals with minimal supervision, relying on oneself to complete objectives, and knowing when to escalate issues
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to obtain other state pharmacy licenses if necessary
- Knowledge of insurance plans
- Knowledge of computer operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check or possibly printing worksheets)
- Basic level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: inserting, editing, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing frame view or possibly running a slide show)
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, copying, and editing text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, formatting, inserting shots, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet, or possibly print functions)
