About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the technical design and implementation of critical systems on a continuous integration platform

- Work with event retrieval systems such as Kafka and demonstrate the ability to work with complex event-driven setups
- Utilize Kubernetes expertise to effectively manage containerized applications
- Communicate directly with customers and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
- Experience with Java, building application servers, and Java APIs
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with event retrieval systems such as Kafka
- Kubernetes expertise and the ability to effectively manage containerized applications
- A desire and ability to communicate directly with customers and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working with cloud-based applications and services
- Knowledge of Apple's products and services, including the App Store, Apple TV, Apple Music, and Apple Podcasts
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Experience with technical leadership and mentoring team members
