About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and passionate Remote Customer Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Technical Support Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical assistance and customer service to our residential and small business customers. Key Responsibilities
- Able to self-manage and work independently in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Able to multitask across multiple systems and applications
- Receive customer inbound phone calls for various alarm system and home automation issues, providing technical assistance and customer education
- Troubleshoot customer technical issues using our guided workflows, with the goal of resolving issues efficiently and effectively
- Present our Virtual Service Call process to customers, highlighting the benefits of saving time and money
- Assist customers with scheduling an onsite Technician visit when required, after positively positioning Virtual and self-serve options
- Provide excellent customer interactions and experiences, using empathy, soft skills, and connecting with customers
- Maintain a private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace that meets company standards, with adequate internet bandwidth to perform the role
- Demonstrate a passion for customer service and ownership of the customer experience, including comprehensive issue resolution
- Be adaptable to changes and receptive to feedback, with a focus on ongoing performance improvements and technological enhancements
