Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large data sets, identifying causal relationships, explaining trends, and predicting future outcomes of key business drivers. You will work on project site selection, optimization, and rationalization, including churn analysis, customer behavior, segmentation, as well as sales analysis, forecasting, pricing business case development, and customer experience analysis. Your expertise in data analytics, statistical techniques, and machine learning algorithms will be essential in driving business growth and informing strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
- Develop and maintain complex data models to predict future outcomes and inform business decisions
- Work on business analytics, including problem question identification, data sourcing, query development, data exploration, augmentation, data visualization, and distillation of results to actionable insights
- Utilize SQL server, Alteryx, and other tools to access, query, clean, and merge multiple large data sets
- Apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms, including regression, cluster analysis, classification, random forest, sentiment analysis, A/B testing, optimization, factor analysis, time series analysis, dimension reduction, variable selection, and other analysis such as ANOVA, F-Test, T-test, Cross-Validation, and experiment design
- Design, maintain, and update interactive online dashboards to provide insights and visualizations to stakeholders
- Work on advanced data analytics, marketing analytics, statistics, business intelligence, pricing, and financial modeling within the wireless and telecommunications industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations on data and research activities, including team productivity, sales performance, and economic impact
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Analytics or Computer Science, and at least 2 years of experience in a related occupation. You should have a strong foundation in statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms, as well as experience working with data discovery and visualization tools, including SQL, R, Python, SAS, MATLAB, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PowerBI, Alteryx, and Tableau.
Essential Qualifications
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Analytics or Computer Science
- At least 2 years of experience in a related occupation
- Strong foundation in statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms
- Experience working with data discovery and visualization tools, including SQL, R, Python, SAS, MATLAB, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PowerBI, Alteryx, and Tableau
- Statistical Business Analysis and Advanced Programming certificates
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the wireless and telecommunications industry
- Knowledge of query platform on Microsoft SQL server
- Experience with automate data extract, transform, and load process
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
