Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and packages that support business objectives
- Develop, validate, and execute complex queries, develop complex reports, and perform complex data analysis to answer business questions for internal clients
- Design and develop applications for internal clients, ensuring data integrity and suitability
- Evaluate data needs of assigned projects, determine data collection methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods
- Turn data into actionable insights through reporting solutions, presenting findings and recommendations to internal clients and stakeholders
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2-4+ years of experience in most of the following areas: Microsoft Access, Excel, Visual Basic for Applications, SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS), ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, Transact SQL, and MS SQL Server
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent related work experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to internal clients and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with reporting platforms such as WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad)
- Knowledge of blithequark systems, databases, and underlying information structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.)
- Database knowledge and experience with Hadoop, Oracle, and Oracle PLSQL
- Crystal Reporting experience
