Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Internal Audit Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of our transaction processing across various business domains. Key Responsibilities
- Audit and Compliance: Determines or validates the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of component and end-to-end transaction processing using simulations, sampling, automated data reviews, and analysis.
- External Audits: Participates in external audits or assessments, including tracking and monitoring requests, gathering responses, and ensuring timely and accurate compliance.
- Risk Assessment and Investigation: Investigates and quantifies the impact and risk associated with identified problems, exceptions, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement within internal audits.
- Documentation and Reporting: Documents and reports the results of internal and external quality reports, assessments, audits, and remediation verification, ensuring clarity and adherence to corporate record retention policies and best practices for audit.
- Collaboration and Improvement: Participates in the evaluation and improvement of audit criteria, procedures, documentation, manuals, and records, and assists in tracking and reporting departmental dashboard elements.
- Adaptability and Teamwork: Performs other related assigned duties as necessary to complete primary job responsibilities, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented mindset.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- An associate's degree or equivalent from a technical, vocational, or business school.
- At least two years of experience in customer service, dental claims processing, or quality control, with previous experience in audit software, sampling, investigation, or auditing techniques being highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex audit findings and recommendations clearly.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a proven ability to resolve problems using independent judgment.
- The capacity to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications

- Advanced degrees or certifications in a related field (e.g., CPA, CIA).
