Job Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Business/Data Analyst to join our Permit Transformation Program team on a one-year contract basis. This remote position presents a unique opportunity to engage in impactful data analysis projects while collaborating with a team committed to advancing environmental quality. As a Senior Business/Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our data analysis initiatives and contributing to the development of our enterprise data model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage data analysis initiatives across the DEQ enterprise, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and standardize an enterprise data model that aligns with the organization’s business and technical objectives, promoting data consistency and integrity.
- Provide expert analysis and support to data analysts, architects, and application developers to enhance data management processes, ensuring that all stakeholders have the information they need to make informed decisions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in technologies including Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, and SSIS, providing guidance and training to other team members as needed.
- Develop and maintain complex databases, data systems, and data processes, ensuring that all data is accurate, complete, and secure.
- Conduct data quality checks and implement data validation processes to ensure the integrity of our data assets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions to meet those needs.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis and management, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our data analysis capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
