About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Technical Support and Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will provide top-notch technical support and customer service to our clients via inbound and outbound calls and internet interactions. Key Responsibilities
- Provide inbound customer support using a call flow guide, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
- Resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and client products, demonstrating broad knowledge and expertise.
- Track, document, and retrieve information in databases, maintaining accurate records and following data privacy guidelines.
- Offer additional products and/or services, enhancing the customer experience and driving business growth.
- Deliver expert customer experiences with a smile, fostering loyalty and positive word-of-mouth.
- Maintain a quiet, distraction-free home workspace, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery and adherence to our high standards.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A strong focus on building customer relationships and providing exceptional support.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a technical support environment.
- A high school diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in computer navigation and PC knowledge.
- Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking, with the ability to ask probing questions to resolve complex issues.
- A desktop or laptop for PC and internet testing, as well as high-speed internet (no wireless/hotspots or satellite) and a smartphone.
- Residency in the United States or a valid U.S. address for residence.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following skills and experience are highly desirable:
- Technical support experience, particularly with hardware, software, and client products such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and wearables.
- Familiarity with iOS and/or MacOS, or comparable technology.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and database management.
- Certifications in customer service, technical support, or a related field.
