Job Summary
As a Retail Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll be the face of our brand, providing top-notch service to customers, and driving sales growth through consultative selling and product expertise. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Provide expert advice on printing, shipping, and graphics products and services, recommending solutions that meet customer needs and preferences
- Operate and maintain a range of equipment, including printing, binding, and shipping machinery, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Manage and process customer orders, providing accurate pricing information, and ensuring timely completion and delivery
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized retail store environment, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets, promote products and services, and drive business growth
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product developments, and company initiatives, applying this knowledge to enhance customer experiences and drive sales
- Perform multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing activities, and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- 6+ months of specialized experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues and provide solutions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing time effectively
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 55 pounds, and bend/twist at the waist and knees
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn company systems and software
