About the Role
We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our Bookkeeping team. As a Senior GL Accountant, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements, ensuring accurate reporting of working costs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
- Be a key owner of the monthly close process for assigned regions and entities, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Maintain financial records for management and GAAP consolidated financial statements using accepted methodologies
- Assist in providing audit support to external auditors on annual audits and quarterly reviews
- Communicate with FP&A, operational partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
- Conduct ad-hoc investigations and projects to drive process improvement initiatives
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry or role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification a plus
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, SOX/internal controls
- Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite, or similar accounting software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, think critically, and make sound judgments
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
