Job Overview

The blithequark EC2 Customer Capacity Experience (CCX) organization is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to join its team. As a Senior Program Manager, you will play a critical role in planning compute capacity and delivering on customer commitments for internal and external customers. Your primary responsibility will be to own the entire capacity planning process, from understanding customer requirements to determining high-confidence fulfillment plans and tracking hardware delivery into customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute capacity planning strategies to ensure the right compute capacity is available for customers, especially during large and unpredictable scaling events
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Account Management, Finance, Engineering, Forecasting, Product Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Data Center Planning, to drive process improvements and deliver customer outcomes
• Communicate plans and outcomes directly to customers, providing clear and concise information to drive customer satisfaction and business objectives
• Drive data-driven decision-making, using metrics and data to determine and drive improvements in the capacity planning process
• Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential issues and developing contingency plans to ensure customer commitments are met
• Define program requirements, develop strategic initiatives, and collaborate with business, engineering, operations, and product teams to deliver solutions to customers

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of business fundamentals, with experience and comfort communicating plans and outcomes directly to customers. You should be willing to learn quickly and understand blithequark EC2 technical details to improve the capacity planning experience. Essential Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements, with a strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret complex data sets
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership, with a strong ability to influence and persuade stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience, with a proven track record of identifying and implementing efficiency gains and cost savings
• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or a related field, with a strong understanding of business principles and practices
