We are a small but global company focused on global certifications seeking an experienced fractional HR professional for an ongoing engagement averaging up to 5 hours per week. This role is ideal for an HR consultant interested in building a long-term professional relationship, with the potential to transition into a part-time or full-time role as the organization grows.
Required Skills & Experience
- Trilingual in English, Spanish, and Portuguese — a minimum of advanced professional-level proficiency required in all three; bilingual or native-level fluency strongly preferred
- 3+ years of strategic HR experience
- Experience supporting multicultural, globally distributed teams
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law for a U.S.-based company operating internationally
- Excellent employee relations experience, including performance management and legal compliance
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
- High level of soft skills, including communication, discretion, empathy, and cultural awareness
- Strong digital literacy, including experience with HR platforms and electronic recordkeeping systems
- Must be located within U.S., or able to consistently work during U.S. business hours
Recommended / Preferred Qualifications
- HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, and/or GPHR
Engagement Details
- Fractional commitment: up to 5 hours per week on average, may range from 0-10 hours per week
- Fully remote
- Must have weekday availability to address emerging or time-sensitive HR matters during U.S. Central Time business hours
