About the Role We’re looking for a freelance writer to support our RFP response process on an as-needed basis. This role is focused specifically on drafting and refining Q&A responses within client-issued RFP documents. RFP timelines and scope can vary. Some projects move quickly with tight turnaround times, while others allow for a more extended review process. This role requires someone who can step in quickly, get up to speed, and deliver clear, accurate responses under deadline. What You’ll Do Draft and edit responses to RFP questionnaires (typically in Excel format) Translate internal materials and solution details into clear, client-ready answers Leverage existing response content from our internal library (Responsive) Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather context and clarify details as needed Join occasional internal calls to support alignment and understanding of the solution What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience in biotech, life sciences, or pharma (required) Experience supporting RFPs or similar structured response processes (strongly preferred) Ability to quickly understand complex subject matter and translate it into clear, concise responses Strong judgment in distinguishing when to reuse existing content vs. tailor responses to specific questions Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment with variable workloads Willingness to ask questions and engage with internal teams when clarification is needed Additional Details Project-based, freelance role Workload and timing will vary based on RFP volume Access to internal tools, prior responses, and subject matter experts will be provided
