We're looking for an experienced GameMaker Developer with a strong background in console porting to join our international team. The ideal candidate will have solid professional experience using GameMaker in a production environment, with a focus on adapting and optimizing games for console platforms.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a GameMaker Developer
- A passion for video games
- Strong expertise in GameMaker, with hands-on experience porting GameMaker games from PC to console
- Proven ability to optimize memory, assets, and framerate, and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Solid understanding of controller support, UI adaptation for consoles and certification processes
- Experience with the GameMaker console build pipeline, including SDK integration and packaging for submission
- Able to independently drive features by collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed
- Excellent debugging, reporting, and documentation skills
- Flexible and quick to adapt to new tools and technologies as required by the project
