For a Children’s Entertainment & Party Event Company (North Hollywood, CA) Hi everyone! I own Clowning Party Entertainment, a children's entertainment and party-event business based in Azusa, CA. We manage bookings, performers, supplies, and multiple payment platforms, and I’m looking for a reliable, detail-oriented bookkeeper to take over our monthly bookkeeping. This is a remote, flexible, part-time position — ideal for someone who enjoys organization, numbers, and independent work. ABOUT OUR COMPANY We provide children’s entertainment services (performers, parties, events) throughout the LA area. Each month, we handle: Client payments (Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, bank transfers, and occasional cash) Payments to performers/team members Business expenses (credit card, Amazon, food, supplies, etc.) The volume is steady and consistent. I currently do everything manually but want to hand it off to a trustworthy professional. WHAT YOU’LL HANDLE Importing or entering transactions from: Bank statements Zelle, PayPal, Venmo Company credit card Cash payments recorded on our booking spreadsheet Categorizing transactions (Income, Team Payouts, Expenses, etc.) Reconciling all accounts monthly Maintaining a clean bookkeeping spreadsheet OR working within QuickBooks/Xero (your preference) Creating a simple monthly report: Total income Total performer payouts Total expenses Net profit Identifying missing or unmatched payments when necessary ⭐ IDEAL CANDIDATE Experience with bookkeeping (especially small businesses or entertainment/event-based businesses a plus!) Comfortable working with multiple payment platforms Strong attention to detail — accuracy is extremely important Familiar with Excel/Google Sheets and/or QuickBooks/Xero Professional, communicative, and trustworthy with sensitive financial info HOURS & PAY Part-time — approx. 4–8 hours per month Flexible schedule — work at your own pace as long as deadlines are met Compensation: Hourly or flat monthly rate (negotiable based on experience) HOW TO APPLY Please message me with: A short intro about your bookkeeping experience What software/tools you prefer to use Your hourly or monthly rate Any examples of how you typically organize bookkeeping (optional but helpful!)
