About the position The HR Business Partner - Union/Labor Relations at Innomotics LLC serves as a trusted advisor to management and labor attorneys, focusing on employee relations within a manufacturing environment. This role involves supporting both unionized and non-unionized employees across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and facilitating effective workforce planning aligned with business goals. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to manage employee relations, contract negotiations, and compliance with collective bargaining agreements. Responsibilities ? Deliver consultative P&O services and HR expertise aligned to business strategy for sites with approximately 400 hourly employees. , ? Coach and develop managers and supervisors on employee relations topics in both unionized and non-unionized environments. , ? Coordinate and assist in contract negotiations and administration of Local Collective Bargaining Agreements, including leading the grievance process. , ? Collaborate with Employer Legal Counsel on high-risk employee relations issues and investigations, preparing responses to Outside Agency Complaints. , ? Support recruiting and hiring for hourly personnel, as well as Employee Relations activities and Health and Safety initiatives. , ? Educate salaried operations partners on HR policies, processes, and programs. , ? Analyze data to identify business needs and develop solutions. , ? Provide analysis and resolution of complex employee concerns related to policy violations. , ? Identify trends in employee relations and develop strategies to mitigate risks. , ? Ensure adherence to company policies and collective bargaining agreements. Requirements ? BS Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field; MS Degree preferred. , ? 8+ years of experience in employee and labor relations, including workplace investigations and collective bargaining in a unionized factory. , ? Experience working with skilled and unskilled laborers. , ? Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on positive outcomes. , ? Effective written and verbal communication skills. , ? Interpersonal skills to build relationships with leadership and employees. Nice-to-haves ? SHRM, HRCI, IPMA or other Human Resources Certifications. , ? Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. , ? Previous experience in a manufacturing union environment. Benefits ?
