What We Offer:
The Integration / Development Operations Code Promotion Engineer is responsible for designing, governing, and operating Git‑driven CI/CD promotion workflows that support InterSystems Health Connect Cloud and enterprise API integrations. This role ensures that all interface code, API artifacts, routing logic, transformations, and configuration assets are fully version‑controlled, auditable, and safely promoted across multiple environments.
This engineer plays a critical role in protecting production stability while enabling fast, compliant delivery of healthcare integrations. The position supports the lifecycle management of HL7, FHIR, and REST‑based integrations using Azure DevOps, ensuring secure, repeatable, and automated deployments aligned with enterprise and healthcare regulatory standards.
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM (On call support required, as needed).

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD promotion pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps
- Govern code promotion processes to ensure safe, controlled releases across development, test, and production environments
- Manage version control for interfaces, APIs, transformations, routing logic, and configuration assets
- Enforce auditability, compliance, and change traceability across all integration deployments
- Collaborate with integration engineers, API developers, and platform teams to enable rapid but reliable delivery
- Protect production stability while supporting continuous improvement and automation
What We're Looking For:
- Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. Computer Science or Computer Information Systems preferred. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Computer Science or Computer Information Systems preferred.
- Experience: 3 years of progressive experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Integration Engineering roles within a healthcare or other highly regulated environment, required.
- Licensure/Certification: - InterSystems IRIS or HealthShare certification, required.
- Epic Bridges, required.
- Ongoing professional development in DevOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms, healthcare interoperability, or security/compliance, preferred.
- Additional Skills (required): Demonstrated experience designing and operating Gitbased CI/CD promotion workflows, including: Branching and merge strategies; Pull request governance and approvals; Tagging and release versioning. Handson experience promoting InterSystems Health Connect / IRIS for Health artifacts across multiple environments, including productions, services, processes, and transformation logic. Proven ability to implement environment separation, configuration management, quality gates, and rollback strategies to protect production systems. Experience working within ITIL change management frameworks, including CAB processes, release windows, and deployment documentation.
- Additional Skills (preferred): Experience promoting API code and configuration using Azure DevOps pipelines, including REST and FHIR APIs. Experience collaborating with Epic analysts, integration developers, API teams, security, and operations teams. Experience in large, complex healthcare organizations with high interface volume and strict compliance requirements. Experience supporting 24×7 Epic, Intersystems, and API production environments.
