Interim Accounting Manager (Remote)

Warbird Healthcare Advisors actively seeks qualified candidates for a REMOTE Interim Accounting Manager role. This position is responsible for overall planning, direction and operation of the finance functions and staff; to work with the Controller to establish and monitor financial and accounting controls and procedures that safeguard the assets of a healthcare system. Additionally, the Accounting Manager is responsible for the oversight and facilitation of GAAP and SAP financial reporting, annual GAAP and SAP audits, and all other financial reporting that is required for both internal and external parties. Experience & Qualifications • Five years recent experience with financial statement preparation, preference given to health care and/or managed care industry experience. • CPA preferred; none required. • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) within the United States, Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP), established by the NAIC and the NV DOI, NAIC annual financial statement preparation. • Experience with budget and audit preparation • Location: Remote (Pacific Standard Time) • Start Date: Immediate Apply tot his job
