WEC Energy Group is one of the nation’s largest electric generation and distribution and natural gas delivery holding companies. They are seeking an IT Infrastructure Consultant to support and enhance software and data analytics solutions, while developing IT skills across various disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting and enhancing software and/or data analytics solutions. Tasks involve designing, modifying, developing, testing, configuring and implementing programs, scripts, processes and procedures (or decommissioning the same)
- Learns the tools and platforms used by the team; learns and applies the team’s standards and processes; learns and the business area’s processes, applications and objectives; applies analytical skills and consults with others to solve problems; develops sound execution plans to complete tasks and/or solve problems; provides day to day client support as experience and expertise allow; builds relationships within IT; contributes to the team’s success through individual contribution and collaboration
- Develops and uses a variety of IT skills across four main disciplines or areas of emphasis: Systems Analysis & Administration, Software Engineering & Development, Project Management & Delivery and Data Analytics & Architecture
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or other related degree
- A strong technical understanding of application development practices, and strong analytical skills
- SAP experience
- SharePoint user experience
- Financial acumen
