About the Role: IT Operations Analyst
The IT Operations Analyst is a critical role that ensures the seamless execution of our IT operations, focusing on incident management, problem management, and service delivery. This position is the linchpin in our efforts to maintain high service levels, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, capture, and validate IT requirements and artifacts to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to measure service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies affecting operational support efforts.
- Create and implement guidelines, processes, and procedures for new technology solutions.
- Oversee the incident and problem management process, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
- Analyze internal IT customer needs and preferences to inform operational support and delivery efforts.
- Participate in periodic reviews for solution, planning, and delivery capabilities.
- Ensure incidents are properly escalated according to defined service level agreements (SLAs).
- Drive KPIs; improve metrics and services for our members and stakeholders.
- Identify and report incident and problem trends and progress.
- Ensure clear and timely communication regarding high-priority issues with relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and service improvement.
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft precise, concise communications.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to seeing tasks through to completion.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to investigate situations for potential future issues.
- Knowledge of incident, problem, change, and data management practices.
- Understanding of IT strategies, clients, and services provided.
- Familiarity with blithequark's core business environment related to eBusiness, Marketing, Warehouse Operations, and corporate philosophies.
- Availability for on-call support 24X7, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ServiceNow.
- Experience with statistical analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with multiple blithequark business areas from an IT perspective.
- Understanding of the Help Desk or Call Center business processes.
- ITIL V3 Foundation certification.
- Experience with IT Administration Management software.
