The position will partner with the Head of FP&A and work closely with the Company President. The role is 100% fully remote. Job Description The Financial Controller role position is pivotal in shaping both internal financial operations and client experiences as the company grows. This position requires a blend of financial acumen, customer focus, and strategic thinking to oversee and optimize accounting functions, deliver client-specific solutions, and drive process improvements. Key responsibilities include: • Managing general accounting operations and building an efficient internal accounting team to maintain accuracy and compliance. • Leading and mentoring accounting team members to enhance performance and maintain top-tier service standards. • Acting as a trusted financial advisor for clients, resolving complex accounting and reconciliation matters, and enhancing customer relationships. • Preparing accurate financial statements, monitoring budgets, and aligning financial strategies with organizational goals. • Identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency, improving critical processes like invoicing and data integration. • Ensuring all accounting practices comply with relevant standards and mitigating financial risks. This role is suited for a strategic and customer-driven finance leader who excels at hands-on accounting to support scalability and enhance client satisfaction.
