Mega Bank is seeking a Junior SBA Business Development Associate to support the growth of its SBA lending platform. This entry-level role focuses on developing business development and relationship-management skills within a regulated banking environment. Responsibilities • Assist in sourcing and developing SBA loan opportunities under the guidance of senior team members • Conduct initial outreach to prospective borrowers and referral partners • Gather preliminary borrower information and assist with pre‑qualification • Maintain accurate pipeline and CRM records • Coordinate with internal SBA, credit, and operations teams to support loan processing • Learn and apply SBA SOP requirements and internal bank policies • Perform administrative and follow‑up tasks related to business development activities Skills • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience • Entry‑level to 1–2 years of experience in banking, sales, customer service, or administrative roles • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems • Willingness to learn regulatory and compliance requirements • Prior exposure to SBA or commercial lending Benefits • Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plan options • Training and professional development opportunities Company Overview • Mega Bank serves with deposit products, commercial real estate loans, construction loans, and commercial & industrial loans.
