Logan Simpson is an award-winning, multidisciplinary consulting firm seeking an entry-level Landscape Designer to join their team. The role involves assisting in the production and preparation of landscape architectural design documents for various projects, while working in a hybrid remote schedule from the Tempe office.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the production, coordination, and preparation of landscape architectural design documents and construction documents for a wide variety of projects, including urban/civic spaces, educational/civic facilities, restoration areas, parks, trails, and natural areas, and streets/highways
- Other related job duties as required
Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or closely related field
- 0-2 years of demonstrable experience in a consulting or agency setting
- Skilled in design and graphics
- Proficient in CAD drafting (AutoCAD with Landfx experience)
- Be able to work cooperatively in a positive team-oriented setting
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work in the office 3 days per week on average, as applicable
- Proficiency in Adobe Suites programs
- Proficiency with Sketchup
