About the Role
blithequark is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Science Consultant to join our Customer Excellence Data and Analytics (CEDA) organization. As a Lead Data Science Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through data-driven insights, leveraging advanced analytical techniques, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex business issues. Your expertise in data science will be instrumental in developing predictive models, identifying performance opportunities, and delivering actionable recommendations that drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex data science initiatives, utilizing advanced analytical, statistical techniques, and machine learning algorithms to derive actionable insights and trends that inform business strategies.
- Build and maintain support for data-driven recommendations, collaborating with peers, colleagues, and senior managers to drive business outcomes and resolve issues.
- Design and execute complex analytical experiments, developing innovative statistical models to solve abstract business problems across various domains.
- Interpret and analyze data using advanced analytics modeling methods and programming, providing recommendations to solve problems and influence business decisions.
- Offer consultation on data science best practices, methods, and tools, ensuring that peers are equipped to leverage data science capabilities effectively.
- Communicate complex insights and recommendations to non-technical audiences, using data visualization and storytelling techniques to ensure that findings are actionable and impactful.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering data-driven insights and recommendations.
- A Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science.
Desired Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Fluency in programming languages such as SAS, Python, and SQL (Teradata), with experience in machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP).
