JOB SUMMARY: Prepare hot and cold food in accordance with assigned kitchen station. Station assignments will vary across all hot and cold stations as determined by the Shift Lead during the assigned shift. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Apply the company's vision and standards to every facet of responsibilities to support the overall success & growth of the company. Must ensure all food prepared and served is of high quality and prepared according to the company's recipes and ticket time standards. Displays and encourages high morale and motivation in the company. Keeps the restaurant and equipment clean and in "Like New" working order. Complies with all safety rules and regulations. Reports any equipment issues and reports accidents in accordance with company procedures. Culinary Expertise. Working knowledge of cooking techniques, flavors, and food preparation methods. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the Line and Fry Cooks must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1+ years of Kitchen experience or determined equivalent. ADDITIONAL TRAINING: Food Safe Handling. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and understand standard recipes. Ability to read and understand most company-produced documentation. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to perform assigned duties. Ability to deal with and solve problems that arise in the kitchen. ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to effectively communicate (oral/written) ideas and information. Ability to work in an organized fashion with minimal supervision.
