Localization Quality Program Manager - Japan

Square is a partner to sellers of all sizes, and the Globalization team helps to bring Square products and services to the world. The company is looking for a Localization Quality Program Manager to join their team in Japan or the US West Coast. Requirements • 3+ years of experience in the localization industry • Native proficiency in Japanese, with the ability to understand it as spoken in Japan • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English • Deep understanding of the Japanese market, its cultural dimensions, and linguistic norms • Ability to describe linguistic challenges, cultural questions and concepts to internal stakeholders • Exceptional attention to detail, flexibility and ability to excel on a fast-paced multicultural team • Experience working with Phrase (formerly Memsource) or comparable TMS, machine translation engines and/or other localization technologies • Experience leading or managing localization quality assurance processes for the Japanese market Benefits • Remote work • Medical insurance • Flexible time off • Retirement savings plans • Modern family planning Apply tot his job
