Manufacturing Operator - 3rd Shift,$19.50 an hour and up (Onsite)

About the position Responsibilities • Learn to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines and vertical turret lathes. • Work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instructions to set up equipment for various machining operations. • Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments. • Obtain operator certification to accept/reject parts. • Perform total preventive maintenance (TPM) on machines. • Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, and production personnel to resolve machining problems. Requirements • High School or General Equivalency Diploma/HiSET. • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. • US Citizenship required due to government contracts. Nice-to-haves • 1+ years of manufacturing, automotive, or related trade experience. • Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions. • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. • Strong computer skills.
