About the Role
The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support content creation across digital and brand channels. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone who is highly creative, detail-oriented, and excited to bring ideas to life visually. This is a short term contractor role for two months, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.
You’ll play a key role in producing content that engages a global audience of coffee professionals—ranging from social media posts and newsletters to presentations and marketing campaigns.
What You’ll Do
Content Creation & Design
- Design and produce content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Create visual assets for email newsletters, campaigns, and website use
- Support the development of presentations, reports, and marketing materials
- Ensure all content aligns with SCA brand guidelines and visual identity
Campaign & Channel Support
- Assist in executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Format and schedule content across platforms
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and assets
- Support content planning and organization
Brand & Creative Support
- Maintain consistency across all visual outputs
- Contribute creative ideas for campaigns and storytelling
- Stay current on design trends and social media best practices
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong graphic design skills with an eye for layout, typography, and composition
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content formats
- Basic understanding of email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp or similar) is a plus
- Experience with Canva, Figma, or similar tools is a bonus
