About Us The Kumorai Story

Kumorai (from the Japanese kumo, cloud) is now a California-headquartered, globally distributed team with roots stretching from San Francisco to most recently Romania. Our SaaS platform gives enterprises a single, no-code pane of glass to design, deploy and govern hybrid networks across AWS, Azure, GCP, on-prem data centers and everything in-between.

The majority of our clients such as Cisco, Bank of America are from the United States. They report up to an 80 % reduction in deployment effort and OpEx after replacing ad-hoc scripts with Kumorais drag-and-drop blueprints and policy-driven automation. We are a fast-growing company with a lot of potential to expand through partnerships and sales-led growth motion, but for that, we need to step up on branding, demand generation, revenue orchestration and for that we need you.

Behind the software is a powerhouse of 105+ years of combined industry experience and ten CCIEs, plus multiple Masters and PhD degrees from institutions like Georgia Tech. Our specialists have walked the data-center aisles, solved the late-night Sev-1s and know exactly where traditional tooling breaks.

About You (Our Ideal Candidate)

You're the rare full-stack tech marketer who can talk cloud or infra automation one minute and tagline copy the next. You've already:

This is a full-time, fully remote, independent contractor position.

Top Objectives (first 12 months)

  1. Brand Lift: Position Kumorai as a top-3 mentioned multi-cloud platform among DevOps / NetSec audiences, measured by monthly social listening reports.

  2. Create a marketing plan for 2025/2026 based on market research, customer journey mapping.

  3. Co-create educational and client activation assets (sales decks, landing pages, tutorials, videos and knowledge centers.

  4. Demand Gen Pipeline: Create pipeline and generate demand via webinars, email nurtures, and targeted content.

  5. Content Velocity: Ship a minimum of 2 thought-leadership assets/month (whitepaper, case study, or long-form blog) and 8 micro-posts/week across team channels.

  6. Launch a newsletter that will resonate with CIOs, CTOs and system admins/network partners.

  7. Ops Excellence: Design and roll out a marketing-to-sales SLA (lead scoring + routing) that cuts average lead-to-demo time.
