We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Assistant to support our payroll operations. In this role, you will help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, assist with data entry, verify timekeeping records, and help maintain payroll documentation. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, discreet with sensitive information, and eager to grow in payroll or HR. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in processing payroll for all employees on a regular schedule • Collect and verify timesheets, attendance records, and leave forms • Enter and maintain accurate employee payroll information in the system • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws • Assist with preparation of payroll reports for accounting and management teams • Support year-end processes including W-2 and other tax document distribution • Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and employee data Company Description"Small and medium-sized businesses have special needs.
