Payroll Specialist 100% Remote Work

Hello, My name is Alex, I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent, on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll. I'm looking for a payroll specialist for my client in the retail sector. This is an 8-month temporary position, fully remote. Responsibilities • Perform the complete bi-weekly payroll cycle (preparation, validation, issuance). • Ensure compliance with provincial and federal laws and regulations. • Collaborate in the implementation process of the new SAP SuccessFactors system (testing, validation, adjustments). • Conduct post-payroll analyses and produce various HR and financial reports. • Respond to internal payroll-related requests with rigor and professionalism. • Work closely with the HR and Finance team. Desired Profile • 5 to 10 years of payroll processing experience in Canada (multi-province). • Proficiency in Nethris or experience with a Type D employer (required). • Functional English (primarily written, sometimes spoken in HR meetings). • Excellent adaptability and ease in a changing environment. • Autonomous, versatile, rigorous, and team-oriented. • Ability to manage a large volume of files in a sometimes chaotic environment. • Payroll accreditation (ACP) not required if significant experience is available.
