What is a day in the life of a Performance Account Director?
Oversee the internal team in the execution of performance marketing channels, particularly Paid Search, Shopping & Product Feeds across their allocated client setsQuality control of implementation to ensure allocated clients are following best in class practices, not just including channel implementation but additional processes such as forecasting and budget managementHelp problem solve/troubleshoot implementation issues and improve client performance to exceed client KPIsAssist the Performance Director to develop Pattern’s performance marketing product offering in line with best in class, and setting the standard for best practice implementation across new and emerging channelsManaging a team of junior performance marketers who carry out the implementation and account manage clientsBe involved in the account management of 2-3 tier 1 clientsActively stay up to date with new performance marketing content trends and platform updatesPrepare new business proposals to showcase our strategic thinking, best practice approach and product offeringWorking closely with the performance marketing team on project work, such as audits and strategies What will I need to thrive in this role?
5+ years of Performance Marketing implementation in an agency1+ years of ecommerce implementation across Performance Marketing channelsA background in developing relationships with both internal and client side stakeholders at various levelsAdvanced knowledge of key platforms: Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Centre and DSPsExcellent attention to detail, communication skills2 years + of line management experienceExperience pitching for new businessExperience with Google Docs/Drive & Google Analytics What is my potential for career growth?
