About the position
The Process Transformation Consultant will play a crucial role in optimizing scheduling solutions for a healthcare client, focusing on aligning specialist capacity with hospital requirements while minimizing burnout and maintaining service excellence. This contract position may transition into a permanent role based on performance and project success.
Responsibilities
• Evaluate the existing scheduling system and operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Support development and implement an optimized scheduling strategy to meet client needs without overburdening specialists.
• Work closely with operational and clinical leadership to create sustainable, equitable solutions.
• Propose and or execute team strategies to alleviate specialist fatigue, ensuring high team morale and performance.
• Manage the project to ensure timely delivery of results and adherence to scope and quality metrics.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and detailed reports.
• Prepare professional documentation of findings, recommendations, and implemented solutions.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees (MBA, business, engineering, or health administration) preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking capabilities to address complex logistical challenges.
• Servant leadership approach with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Six Sigma certification strongly preferred; PMP certification a plus.
Nice-to-haves
• Healthcare experience is helpful but not mandatory.
