Here's what we're looking for
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Quality Analyst who will execute comprehensive testing across multiple Salesforce implementation projects. This individual contributor role reports to the Lead QA and focuses on ensuring exceptional quality delivery through detailed test execution, defect tracking, and close collaboration with development teams. You'll be instrumental in maintaining our high quality standards while supporting rapid deployment cycles.
You'll contribute to engagements that include:
AI-related projects: Testing Agentforce implementations, Data Cloud integrations, and AI-powered Salesforce solutions.
Salesforce projects: Quality assurance across Sales, Service, Experience, Platform, Industry Clouds, and products like Marketing Cloud, Tableau, MuleSoft, and Slack.
Enterprise integrations: Testing complex integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
What you'll do
Execute comprehensive end-to-end testing for 2-3 concurrent Salesforce projects.
Create and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts from business requirements and user stories.
Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing across multiple Salesforce clouds.
Test Salesforce-specific configurations including flows, validation rules, Lightning components, permission sets, and custom objects.
Conduct risk-based testing to support rapid deployment cycles and tight release schedules.
Validate data migrations, integrations, and system configurations using SQL queries and data validation tools.
Track, document, and manage defects using Jira or similar tools with detailed reproduction steps.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and defect triage meetings.
Collaborate directly with developers to ensure quick issue resolution and quality gates are met.
Partner with business analysts to understand requirements and provide testing insights.
Support and facilitate UAT sessions with business users, gathering feedback and managing test cycles.
Execute basic test automation scripts as provided by Lead QA or automation team.
Contribute to test process improvements and adopt new testing tools as introduced.
Learn and leverage AI-enhanced testing tools to improve efficiency and coverage.
Maintain comprehensive test documentation and provide regular status updates to Lead QA.
What you'll bring
Must-Have Requirements
3-5 years of quality assurance experience with at least 2 years specifically in Salesforce testing.
Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies, test case design, and execution.
Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
Functional understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data model, and security model.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with sprint-based delivery.
Proficiency with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar platforms.
Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage and context-switch between 2-3 concurrent projects.
Experience with defect tracking, root cause analysis, and test reporting.
Proven ability to work under supervision while maintaining high autonomy in execution.
Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively with distributed teams.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance best practices.
Good-to-Have (Differentiators)
Technical Skills - Test Automation:
Experience with automation tools like Selenium, UiPath, Provar, or Copado Testing
Basic scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Python, or similar languages
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration
Understanding of Page Object Model and test automation frameworks
Technical Skills - Advanced Salesforce:
Admin-level understanding of Salesforce configuration and setup
Experience testing Lightning Web Components and Aura components
Knowledge of Salesforce DX, scratch orgs, and deployment processes
Familiarity with complex Salesforce products like CPQ, Field Service, or Industries
Understanding of Salesforce APIs and platform limits
Technical Skills - Data & Integration:
SQL proficiency for complex data validation and test data management
API testing experience (REST/SOAP) using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools
Experience with ETL testing and large-scale data migration validation
Knowledge of middleware platforms like MuleSoft, Informatica, or Dell Boomi
Understanding of integration patterns and enterprise system testing
Process & Tools:
Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies
Knowledge of accessibility testing and WCAG compliance
Familiarity with security testing concepts and OWASP guidelines
Experience with BDD/Cucumber frameworks for test automation
