We assist Legal, Risk and Compliance in-house departments on their digital transformation journey. As a ServiceNow Developer you will implement technical solutions in cooperation with Solution Architects and Legal Transformation Advisors.
The role requires both broad and deep technology knowledge (incl. advanced scripting experience) and the capability to implement solutions by translating customer business problems into end-to-end technology solutions together with our Solution Architects.
We are looking for a technically strong person who is resourceful and confident under high pressure.
Please note, this is a full time, permanent employment offer. Not B2B Freelance contract.
Tasks
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and handle bugs from Production and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), assessing severity, identifying root causes, and implementing fixes whenever possible.
- Prioritize engaging with the development team for additional insights before escalating unresolved issues to the core team.
- Provide feedback to other developers about bug occurrences and communicate any patterns or practices that contribute to errors.
- Actively participate in retrospective meetings, offering valuable insights and feedback to enhance team and process effectiveness.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Senior Tester and engage with the Tech Lead as needed for coordinated quality assurance efforts.
- Support the ATF developer by contributing to test automation development or verifying ATF work, as required.
- Continuously seek opportunities for code improvement through refactoring or cleanup during bug investigations, creating stories to address these enhancements.
- Assess the criticality of improvements and determine whether to address them independently or escalate to the core team for sprint inclusion.
- Ideally, take on responsibilities for deployment across environments, ensuring smooth and coordinated transference between development stages.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong operational experience, particularly in deployment processes across multiple environments (dev, test, release, prod).
- Experience with Automated Test Frameworks (ATF), contributing to test automation efforts.
- An experienced developer or an ambitious junior eager to tackle complex codebase challenges and bug resolution.
- Characteristics:
- Quality and service mentality, constantly striving to enhance code integrity and product reliability.
- Possesses an investigative mindset, adept at troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify and resolve bugs efficiently.
