Role: QA Tester with knowledge of Claims processing Location: Plano, TX (Remote) Type: Contract Job Duties: • Define and research testing metrics, analyze trends, and identify and develop corrective actions and influence decisions that lead to improved business results. • Promote and support Agile frameworks for teams and organizations in co-located, distributed, and remote environments. Provide recommendations to drive continuous testing process improvement initiatives for future applications or project releases. • Detect problems where standard practices and/or software have failed to meet client requirements. • Conduct root cause analysis and drive defect prevention initiatives for the team. • Ensure timely defect resolution through close collaboration with development teams. • Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Master, Business Analysts, Developers and Client Stakeholders. • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and release signoffs. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience in functional testing. • 2+ years of experience in test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.)3+ year of hands-on experience with functional, regression, system, and UAT testing, with special focus on Healthcare Payer applications. Must Have: • Knowledge of API testing (SOAPUI, Postman) • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with CI/CD and DevOps environments • Expertise in Healthcare Payer Business processed with special focus on EDI transactions like 837, 834. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
