We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst to join our finance team. As an AP Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and payments. You will also assist with vendor onboarding, reconciling account discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Onboarding & Relationship Management: Facilitate vendor onboarding, maintain accurate records, and serve as the primary point of contact for vendors
- Invoice Processing & Verification: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Accounts Payable Tracking & Reconciliation: Maintain accurate AP records and reconcile AP accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- AP Payments: Process payments to vendors, ensuring adherence to payment terms and deadlines
- Employee Expense Reports & Reimbursements: Verify and process employee expense reports, manage reimbursement processes, and address discrepancies
- Corporate Credit Card Reconciliation: Reconcile corporate credit card transactions, verify supporting documentation, and ensure accurate coding
- Management Reporting: Compile and prepare management reports related to accounts payable and corporate credit card spending
- Internal Controls and Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies related to accounts payable
- Support Audits and Internal Reviews: Prepare and provide documentation and support for internal and external audits
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, or errors in the AP process
- System Implementation and Enhancement: Participate in the implementation of new AP systems or upgrades
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: In Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to work with large datasets
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a Fast-Paced Environment: Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth company, preferably in the sports, entertainment, or hospitality industries
- ERP Systems Experience: Previous experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
