Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Avenue Code is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Data Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and high-performance data infrastructure, requiring expertise in software development, database management, and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
• Delivering solutions for distributed data queries, ensuring efficient and timely access to large datasets
• Managing Structured Data Systems, which includes defining fixed formats and general data structures that will apply to multiple data sets across the organization
• Architecting and Designing Relational and NoSQL data structures to support various business needs and application requirements
• Tuning and optimizing for performance of data pipelines, databases, and query execution
Skills
• Very Strong of experience as a Full Stack or Back End Developer, with a strong focus on data-centric applications
• Proficiency in programming languages such as NodeJS and Python
• Expert knowledge of databases and SQL; extensive experience with both NoSQL and relational databases, specifically Postgres
• Demonstrated experience with ETL pipeline creation and management
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows for version control and collaboration
• Proficiency with the AWS platform (e.g., S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Glue) for deploying and managing data services
• Experience writing unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
• Strong English communication
