EPM Scientific is seeking a visionary Executive Director of Biostatistics & Data Science to lead strategy and execution across their global clinical portfolio. This role involves driving innovation in neuroscience through data science and AI, overseeing large-scale initiatives, and mentoring a global team of data scientists.
Responsibilities
• Define and execute Clinical Data Science strategies for global development programs
• Serve as the primary data science representative to health authorities, influencing regulatory perspectives
• Drive adoption of AI/ML methodologies for disease modeling, biomarker analysis, and precision medicine
• Oversee large-scale initiatives ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, shaping best practices
• Lead and mentor a global team of data scientists and managers
• Strategic leadership in clinical trial design and data science integration
• Innovation in AI/ML applications for imaging, genomics, proteomics, and precision medicine
• Regulatory engagement and defense of data strategies
• Operational excellence in GxP compliance, vendor management, and budget oversight
Skills
• Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, or related computational sciences
• 10+ years of experience in clinical development, data science, and biostatistics
• Recognized leader in AI/ML or precision medicine
• Proven regulatory engagement and external presentation experience
• Strong leadership skills with global team management experience
• Research experience in neurology, especially Alzheimer's biomarkers (plasma, CSF, imaging)
