The Employee Relations Specialist plays a key role in supporting day-to-day employee relations matters across assigned Pyramid Healthcare facilities, partnering closely with managers to provide guidance on workplace concerns.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a resource for managers on routine employee relations matters, including attendance, conduct, and policy concerns
- Coach managers through progressive discipline and ensure consistent application of company policies
- Assist with drafting corrective actions, coaching documentation, and performance-related communication
- Provide guidance on interpretation and application of company policies and procedures
- Escalate complex issues or investigations to the HR Manager/HRBP as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of employee relations cases
- Monitor trends and provide insight on recurring employee relations concerns
- Collaborate with HR team members on projects and process improvements
- Complete required trainings and perform other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of one (1) year experience focusing on foundational employee relations or generalist duties preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Understanding of basic HR policies and general employment practices
