The Finance Coordinator will support the Operations Department by managing payroll, benefits administration, and accounts payable, ensuring efficient operations and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain employee information in the payroll system, ensuring all required information and documentation are accurate
- Work with third party accountants to maintain integrations between payroll and general ledger systems
- Remind staff to submit hours and ensure supervisors review timecards in a timely manner
- Review timecard coding and support department leads as needed
- Prepare and submit payroll reports for approval
- Enter and update PTO for designated employees as needed
- Triage and respond to notices within the payroll system and escalate as necessary
- Set up and maintain BILL accounts for employee reimbursements
- Manage employee and accounts payable processes and verify internal controls on outgoing payments
- Responsible for entering invoices into the accounts payable system accurately
- Review and code transactions, attach receipts, and resolve discrepancies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for billing questions from external vendors
- Track and process benefits invoices in a timely manner
- Ensure that policies are accurately reflected and updated in our systems
- Ensure employee enrollment data is accurate across 401k, health, vision, dental, FSA, and other benefits
- Escalate benefits queries to leadership as necessary
- Assist with general finance administrative tasks as needed
- Support the Operations team in organizing and executing initiatives and projects
- Help to maintain our systems and ensure data integrity
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet expected deadlines
- Maintain high standard of work in a nimble, fast paced environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
