The Opportunity: Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative

We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a representative, you will be the primary point of contact for medical providers, patients, and billing services, providing exceptional support and resolving inquiries related to medical claims and billing. This is a full-time, remote opportunity with a flexible schedule between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm Central Time Zone, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming claim calls and log data into our proprietary medical bill review system
• Provide clear explanations of benefits, services, and claims/reimbursement procedures to stakeholders
• Interface with providers, patients, billing services, and insurance adjusters in a professional and courteous manner
• Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to resolve customer inquiries and concerns
• Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to multi-task with customer interactions and various applications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of prior customer service experience, with a focus on providing exceptional support
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly
• Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding customer service
• Ability to learn basic medical terminology and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Quiet and professional work environment free of distractions, with a high-speed internet connection (DSL or cable modem, non-cellular, with minimum speed of 25 mbps download and 15 mbps upload)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a medical insurance or billing environment
• Familiarity with medical terminology and claims processing procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex customer issues
